Seiko Prospex ‘King Turtle’ SRPE05K1. The watch’s nickname originates from the shape of the case and its similarity to the shell of a turtle. An oversized screw-down crown sits beside the 4 o’clock position and is protected by a crown guard, which increases the functionality of this watch.

The ‘King Turtle’ edition is differentiated from the normal ‘Turtle’ with the addition of a unidirectional ceramic bezel with an interesting and practical machining on the bezel edge and an ultra-scratch resistant sapphire glass with magnified date window. The benefit of having a ceramic bezel is that it provides greater durability and scratch resistance than a stainless-steel bezel and will also retain its colour, unlike a painted bezel that may fade over time.
