Here at Calibre, we believe that when it comes to choosing a wrist companion – the perfect timepiece is probably written in the stars.

Whether you’re a daily horoscope reader or zodiac newbie, you may be familiar with the four elements in astrology: fire, earth, air, and water. Each of the 12 astrological signs falls into one of the four elements, meaning that three signs are ruled by the same element. It’s believed that understanding which element rules your sign will help you to connect with others and provide an insight into your nature too.

That’s why we’ve decided to match your sign with luxury watches. These reflect and complement temperaments associated with each of the elements of astrological signs.

Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius

For the dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate.

Fire signs appreciate movement and spontaneity, along with accessing their imagination for creative problem-solving. They are frequently in search of action and adventure and tend to push back against limitations too.

Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

Grounded, solid and practical

Those who possess Earth energy can relate to the world on a deeper level than others. People with this element are often resistant to change, demonstrating a strong appreciation for routines and rituals instead. They also tend to seek material comforts.

Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

Witty, thoughtful and cautious

Linked to the agile and changeable nature of thoughts and observation, air signs are typically intellectual and process-driven. They are often guilty of over-thinking but are generally sociable as they draw energy from communicating and forming alliances with other signs.

Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

Emotional, creative and fluid

It’s not surprising that fluidity and freedom are closely linked with the water element. Those within this sign embrace change and can adapt to changes in their environment, despite being typically sensitive. Above all, they look for emotional fulfilment and this is through their admiration of art.
