Description

Having been part of all six lunar missions and endorsed by NASA as the first watch on the moon, the legendary Speedmaster family represents Omega’s adventurous, pioneering spirit.

Providing flawless performance and exceptional style, this Omega Speedmaster Professional Men’s Moonwatch features a black dial set within a reliable 42mm stainless steel case and a black bezel complete with tachymeter scale.

The high precision dial plays host to a small seconds sub-dial, a 30-minute sub-dial, a 12-hour sub-dial and a central chronograph hand, all protected by a hesalite crystal lens.

Secured with a black alligator leather strap and water resistant to 50 metres, this confident watch is powered by mechanical calibre 1861 manual-winding movement.

FEATURES

Chronograph: The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A chronograph watch can therefore be used to time events while displaying the time like any traditional watch.

Small Seconds: A hand on a sub-dial which tracks seconds typically it completes a full rotation in one minute.

Tachymeter: A tachymeter watch has a function for measuring speed. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read in kilometres per hour based on a 1000 metre distance.

MOVEMENT

Caliber Omega 1861: Famous manual-winding chronograph movement. A descendent of the calibre that was worn on the Moon. Rhodium-plated finish.
