Overseen by the Crown Jeweller, the creative cues of ribbon and wave flowing baguette diamonds come from the beautiful Art-Deco inspired pieces within Mappin & Webb's archives. The Renee Limited Edition Collection consists of four pieces; 18ct White Gold 0.75cttw Renee Ribbon hoop earrings, 18ct White Gold 0.85cttw Ribbon necklace, 18ct White Gold 1.5cttw Renee Ribbon Bangle and an 18ct White Gold 1cttw Renee Ribbon ring.

Each elegant piece adorns the skin with a remarkable silhouette of mixed cut diamond ribbons. Round brilliant, and baguette cut diamonds playfully loop around one another with a fluid elegance that epitomises grace and femininity with scintillating sparkle.

Mappin & Webb has created jewellery for Royal courts since the 1800s and has a treasure trove of design archives to draw inspiration from, as well as a wealth of experience. The new Renee Limited Edition collection is a reimagination of a historic motif with a contemporary twist.

The bow motif first appeared in jewellery in the 17th century, as symmetrical and stiff adornments for the French Royal court. Advances in jewellery-making techniques have since enabled designs to be more fluid - in this instance the ribboned layers of mixed cut diamonds that bring fluidity into the Renee story.
