The Goldsmiths Story
Goldsmiths is the largest quality jeweller in the UK, with stores in every major town and city from Aberdeen to Torquay, and five in Northern Ireland. By the end of 2007, there were over 180 showrooms in the country, each offering the high streets finest selection of premier and designer watch brands, and gold and diamond jewellery.
In 1778 we opened our first store in Newcastle, and it’s still trading successfully to this day on the very same site. Since then there have been many notable achievements, from making the FA Cup and Rugby League Trophy, to being awarded three Royal Warrants. Ours is a business with over 200 years of tradition and experience.
Back in 1919, Goldsmiths was also proud to be named as the UK's first appointed stockist of Rolex watches. Today, we have the largest distribution network for Rolex, Cartier, Omega, Gucci and many other reputable watch brands.

Returns
We want you to be completely happy with anything you purchase from our website. If you’re not, you can return it within 30 days of receipt, and we will give you an exchange or refund.
Repairs
All Goldsmiths stores offer a first class repair service. Most repairs are performed by skilled craftsmen in our own workshops* within two weeks, and all come with a 12 month guarantee.
If you need your jewellery repaired, just take it to your nearest store. One of our sales consultants will be able to give you a verbal estimate. We’ll get in touch when the work is done and safely hold onto your jewellery until you can collect it.
*Certain watch brands will be returned to the manufacturer for repair or servicing.
